For the most part, a healer’s clients are drawn to them energetically, there is a simple ‘knowing’ that a healer is the right person for you to work with. There are a number of reasons for this, too complicated for our rational minds to understand. 

Healers of any modality will know that their clients come for more than just the requested healing. Our clients are teaching us, stretching us and developing us. Sometimes they push buttons, sometimes we push our client’s buttons. 

It is all part of the dance of universal intelligence. ‘All who are to meet will meet’ (acim) and you can trust your intuition to guide you to the right healer. The key is knowing when one is in need of healing and being willing to take responsibility for healing ourselves, whether it is with a healer or on our own.

The path for me has been a long and winding one that started when I was very young. I avoided it for much of my life, but the magnetic pull of this work became stronger and stronger and eventually I could no longer avoid it.

I started studying A Course In Miracles when living in London in my 20’s and still consider that my spiritual home, I later studied life coaching, Neuro-linguistic programming, Time Line Therapy, and Hypnosis and found these all extremely useful tools however some of the most useful material I have studied does not come with a certification. So much wisdom is freely available to those who seek it. 

When I started healing, it was simply an interest and I had no intention of taking it any further, however the universe had other plans for me. Firstly, I started getting lots of referral business, then I started receiving divine guidance on a process that has since developed into ‘The Complete Aura Restoration’. 

I was also invited onto a two year certified healing course through the School of Intuition and Healing for which I am extremely grateful and has taught me many other amazing techniques and provided a professional framework within which to structure my work.

Ultimately however, the greatest learning for me has come from a 3 year process in which I investigated every ache, pain, discomfort, limiting belief, judgement and disappointment from an energetic perspective.

 With my family as my case studies I was amazed to discover that almost all physical symptoms have an energetic cause and that energetic causes can be healed. Through this I was forced to look at all aspects of my life including the lifestyle choices I had made in my youth, the career I was still trying to have to satisfy others and limiting beliefs I still carried about myself and my very identity.

Whether we like it or not we are all on the same journey towards enlightenment. Some of us are in a hurry and some have forgotten about the ultimate destination, but at the end of the day we are all at the planet earth school of enlightenment and it will serve us to help each other through the curriculum.
